  2. LeapPad sounds like a great addition to the road tripping tool set. Entertained kids are happy kids when it comes to road trips – or anything, really…

  3. What a great post! When we travel we always drive and finding things for the little ones to do is of the utmost importance.

  4. LeapPad was always our go to when traveling. It really kept our girls busy during those long trips and I loved that it was educational for them as well.

  5. Great post and great gadgets! I have been looking for something to help my daughter to be more at ease when travelling.

  6. Tablets can be great for keeping the kids entertained. We always add new apps before heading out on a trip.

  7. This post couldn’t have come at a better time! We are driving 5+ hours to Vermont this week and need all of the tips we can get!

  9. I like that the Internet is controlled for the kids on the LeapPad. We let the kids bring tablets when we travel.

  10. I don’t have any kids but have been stuck in a few delays before. I couldn’t imagine going through a delay with a child, it was hard enough by myself!

  11. Oh my goodness, delays are horrible with kids. I use tablets to my advantage because that seems to do the trick at least for a little bit.

  12. Our son is definitely going to need headphones for our next trip. He watches movies AND plays on his Kindle.
