  1. We stay home on almost all holidays. We live in an area that gets lots of tourists on this holiday and others and it’s safer and easier to stay home than fight traffic and be on the road with people that go out to drink.

  2. I can’t believe it is time for Labor Day already!! I Love these ways to take advantag of it, I know we plan to spend time together.

  3. These are great ideas, growing up I always remember we always had a parade in my town. We have moved since then and our new town does not I wish they did for my kids to see.

  4. I can’t believe it labor day in a few weeks. the only good is that all my kids will be back in school.

  5. Don’t ask me why but I always end up working on Labor Day–that’s the life of a freelance bookkeeper-semi-retired or not! I’ll probably just stay in and read if I happen to be free one or two days of that weekend!

  6. I just love spending the day with family and heading out to a local parade! Always good to see the community and spend time together!

  7. I just love the start of Fall and all the bustling activities that come with it. We usually spend that weekend chilling out.

  8. Hahaha great list!!! And I’m loving that you said drink! No better way to do Labor Day if you ask me 😉
