  2. There are so many choices! I actually homeschool and he is will be a senior next year but I love that there are more and more choices for our teens now days! Not one shoe fits all!!

  3. It’s nice to see that there are so many choices nowadays. Back in my day, it was either private or public school. There were no alternatives.

  5. This is a great guide. There are lots of choices. A few of my siblings decided to enroll their children in private schools.

  8. There are so many choices for high school. My Kids went to our local high school and loved it.

    There are simply more options now, more things to consider.

  10. My six-year-old thinks he wants to go away to boarding school. It’s definitely a consideration for us if he found the right fit that set him up for college.

  11. My children go to a K through 12 charter school and we could not be happier. It is basically a private school without the expensive tuition.

  12. Nice, I never knew anything close to in-depth info about schools until I read this. Charter schools looks like my definitive idea of how a learning institution can be made.

  13. The system in our education in the Philippines recently change. We call it K-12, after 4 years in high school, another 2 years for vocational courses.

  15. Choosing the right school can make such a big difference for your high schooler! My oldest daughter went to the same private high school for 4 years. We switched our second daughter after her sophomore year to a different private high school that was much more of a prep school and she was able to get into a really good college!

  17. Making sense of all the different options out there for high school age kids can be overwhelming. This breaks it down so perfectly.

  18. I like that there is a school of choice option in so many states. Sometimes you def. do not want the public school in your zoned area, most esp. during the high school years.

  19. These are such hard decisions. Each situation, family and child are different. It’s a blessing to live in an area with so many options.
