- Ghirardelli White Melting Wafers – 2lbs
- Wilton 710-956 Spring Nonpareils Bottle, 5-Ounce
- Dove or Hershey Chocolate Hearts
- Dove Valentines Heart Promises, Milk Chocolate, 8.87-Ounce Package
- Hershey’s Valentine’s Extra Creamy Milk Chocolate Hearts, 10 Ounce
Melting: Melt Ghirardelli Candy Making and Dipping Wafers carefully. Be sure all containers and utensils are dry. Microwave Method: Place Ghirardelli Candy Making and Dipping Wafers in microwave-safe container. Microwave at half power or defrost setting for 30 seconds. Stir thoroughly (product keeps its original shape until stirred). If not completely melted, continue to microwave at 15 second intervals and stir until smooth. Overheating will cause wafers to burn. Stove Top Method: Place Ghirardelli Candy Making and Dipping Wafers in pan over low heat. Stir constantly until smooth and melted. Do not allow to boil.
I poured melted candy into a dish. (You can do from pan)
Hold unwrapped Dove or Hershey hearts between index finger and thumb holding the edges and dip the top portion into the mixture. Place on wax paper. Sprinkle while still moist. Let dry!
