  4. I take turmeric supplements and have put it in teas and fresh vegetable juices. Has a strong flavor but is amazingly good for you.

  9. I have heard wonderful things about turmeric and its health benefits, but when my sister was pregnant she began having some light contractions after using turmeric in a roast, and learned it is not recommended for expecting mothers.
