This past week in NH we had Spring Break, which means this work at home Mama had to learn to juggle the wonderful trio alongside getting work done. Because. Bills. We had a lot of fun and even was able to sneak in one day of just my daughter and me time, perfection.

Dress up in pretend play clothes and clean bedrooms.

Pull out some board games or card games, have some fun. Purchase UNO on Amazon.

Rent a Drone from Gearup.io and have fun in a local field, supervise the kiddos obviously!

Attend a local free event, such as Discover Wild NH Day we attended in Concord, NH.

Host or attend a family Cookout! The teen daughter brought her friend & we enjoyed food with family.

Just go downtown to a local park or high school … let the kids run!

If all else fails, go buy a cheap water slide and set it up for a good cool off time.

There are so many ways you can have fun with kids during Spring Break or even Summer Vacation without going broke, I hope that our lifestyle inspired you to start having fun with the kiddos any chance you get. We only live once and these kids will be 18 before you know it, so go out and enjoy the time you have with them, go make some memories without going broke!

  2. These are all great ideas for things to do on spring break. We always play board games or card games. We also packed a lunch and go to the beach for the day.

  3. These are all great suggestions and I am happy none of them cost a fortune. My children visited my inlaws in California for most of their spring break, but we were still able to have some family fun time too.

  4. Even though Spring Break is over, I’m going to save some of these ideas for Summer Break. My kids will love it.
