Disclosure: I received a similar prize package. All opinions are my own.
The package arrived, and the LeapFrog’s LeapBand activity tracker was opened! My youngest son was all excited about wearing a “watch” like item, because he is always asking for a watch. Unlike regular watches this LeapFrog LeapBand watch has a little pet that you can unlock cool activities with as your child works to be more active. Simply plug your LeapFrog LeapBand into your computer and update it, register and work to set activities for your child. It is a really easy and fun way to track how active your child is. As we head into back to school, which is just around the corner it seems, you want to ensure you are keeping your child active both in mind and body. With LeapFrog’s LeapBand there is much excitement over being active!

How To Keep Kids Eating Better & Being Active
I am all about keeping kids eating better choices and sometimes those veggies must be snuck into meals, so here is how I work to include veggies in my kids daily diet:
- Crock Pot Meals – I like to put meat, veggies and a sauce of some sort into the crock pot on low all day and then the kids have it all mixed together. The sauce usually is one that adds enough flavor to keep the kids from realizing they are eating veggies.
- Match Veggies By Color with Regular Dinner Meals – This can be such a tricky way to include veggies in your kids diets, simply match a color veggie up with whatever meal you are swerving and sneak some small pieces of it into the meal. For example: add cauliflower in with a home made mac and cheese, they won’t notice it’s in there.
- Just Make Kids Eat Veggies – I am big on this is what I am serving, try it. If you can nail this parenting idea, which is not always easy and I must admit I am not super successful with this option, you could give some incentive for the child to finish a serving of veggies on their plate with their meals as a means to get a special snack – which could also be something healthy for them, that they like!
