I am always on the lookout for natural ways to get rid of the aches and pains associated with raising children, you know picking them up when they are large enough to walk on their own as well as working at a desk most of my day. I try to make sure I do stretches, get up and walk around and such during my day because it is important to keep those muscles moving.
While getting up and moving may help you a bit with those aches and pains associated with sitting at a desk all day, there are other methods to use in which will assist in being proactive in not having as many aches and pains:
- Practice good posture while sitting at your desk; be sure you are sitting straight up with your feet flat on the floor.
- Hold your hands properly at the keyboard when typing, don’t get lazy and rest those wrists on the keyboard.
- Have your monitor strategically placed in a position so you are looking straight at it, not up or downwards towards it.
Personally I think that aches and pains will naturally come with age and whatever we put our bodies through during the day, even if we practice proactive measures to counteracts such pains. The Melt Method may assist in reducing aches and pains as well as a form of stress relief. After a long day in the office you may want stress relief in addition to relief from everyday aches and pains. In just ten minutes a day you can help alleviate those aches and pains as well as stress using the Melt Method roller.
The Melt Method works to bring your body back to a more natural state of being; we lose some much from our bodies just be living life day-to-day, many make sure to bring awareness to mental health as well as proper eating habits, but honestly it is just as important to get your body back on track into a position it was meant to be. Working to gain back proper posture, stretching the proper muscles and learning ways to rejuvenate your body at the end of each day will really assist you in having a healthier and happier new year!
