I recall never liking coffee, at all. I loved coffee flavored things, coffee ice cream was my all time favorite, but then it happened – I started working in New London, NH as an administrative assistant with a high paced, multi-tasking job. I needed coffee. I started drinking coffee. I became addicted to coffee.
I now get a headache if I try to go without coffee. I seriously do. The thing is, I can not even do decaffeinated coffee either because I still get that headache. I recall that there was this one week where my head was pounding, I could not break this migraine – at all. Then I noticed something, one night I was preparing my coffee machine so that I could simply wake up and hit “brew” the next morning, my coffee grinds had a big green stripe on the can… what was it you ask? It was decaffeinated coffee – so wrong!
I put myself into a migraine central week by purchasing the wrong coffee, it had zero caffeine and my brain was on fire from lack of caffeine. Never again will I be so absent minded as to not look at the label when purchasing a coffee brand I am not used to purchasing.
So here it is, Monday .. let’s get this week started with my caffeinated coffee in the form of an IV…. Happy Monday everyone!
