The boyfriends daughter is 11 and my daughter is 10, they get along just as good as their parents do. The boyfriend and I hit it off immediately, being so much a perfect match that we didn’t think twice about moving forward together. The kids matched up so perfectly that we, again, were caught just rolling with the punches. Nothing has been had to be planned with us, for the most part, other than we have to find a rental for when Spring hits. The kids are insanely happy, I am insanely happy – everyone involved in our new Happily Blended Family is just on cloud 9 right down to the little man K-monster!
However, no matter how we may all blend together so perfectly, “his and mine” … having two tween girls around seriously makes me wonder if I should start liking wine? Just kidding… but check out the video above of my Kiara and the boyfriends C dancing around singing “just keep swimming” from the movie Nemo after dinner the other night.
Caution – they are complete silly dorks like their parents, but I love them!

OMG they were doing this all night. And then they tried to steal the sugar because they lost their “hyper” … I was like “step away from the sugar. Put the sugar on the counter” as if they had a gun or something. They cracked up! I am so happy to be truly happy for once!
