I Tried Out Weight Watchers Cheese

I am a cheese addict and so is my daughter and three year old son. We just love our cheese so much that we will try nearly any kind you toss at us, which is why when Weight Watchers was looking to have us taste test some of their cheese selections this Summer through a Mom Select campaign we said YES please.

Weight Watchers has a huge selection of cheese products that you can find at your local supermarket, I found some at Market Basket where I shop for my groceries. The selections we tried are:

Weight Watchers Jalapeno Pepper Gourmet Cheese Wedges – This spreadable cheese is perfect for spreading onto crackers, fruits, vegetables, bread and more as a quick, filling snack. Each rich and creamy wedge packs 2 grams of protein and 1 gram of fiber into just 30 calories, and has a PointsPlus® value of 1.

Weight Watchers Reduced Fat Whipped Strawberry Cream Cheese Spread – This decadent, fruity variety of the Original Weight Watchers Whipped Cream Cheese is the only one of its kind on the market – you won’t find reduced fat whipped strawberry cream cheese from anyone but Weight Watchers Cheese. With a fluffy, whipped consistency, each two-tablespoon serving has 60 calories, a PointsPlus value of 2, and is sure to freshen up the blandest of breakfasts.

Weight Watchers Reduced Fat Whipped Onion and Chive Cream Cheese Spread – The new Weight Watchers Onion and Chive Spread is a savory whipped treat to enjoy at all times of the day, on bagels, sandwiches and more. It is also unique in its category – no one but Weight Watchers Cheese offers a reduced fat whipped onion and chive cream cheese. In a two-tablespoon serving, the spread has only 60 calories and a PointsPlus value of 2.

Weight Watchers Reduced Fat American Singles – These individually-wrapped singles make it easy to enjoy the ooey-gooey goodness of melted cheese without all the fat and sodium of regular cheese singles. These singles are an excellent source of calcium with 25 percent of the recommended daily dose in every single along with 1 gram of fiber per single. Each slice has 45 calories and a PointsPlus value of 1.

How Did I Taste Test These Cheeses?

The sliced cheese we used on cheeseburgers for our Father’s Day Celebration and the onion and chive cream cheese spread has been used daily on my morning toast as well as in a pasta bake recipe I plan to share later this month. The jalapeno wedges were sucked down by my daughter as a snack item, she loved them!

You can get a $1.00 coupon to try Weight Watchers Supermaket Foods cheese yourself and you can like Weight Watchers Supermaket Foods on Facebook to keep up to date with the latest!

Since receiving these review items for free I have gone on to purchase their cream cheese spread that comes in one box with 8 packages of cream cheese, the perfect serving size so I don’t overload on cream cheese with my onion bagel and it tastes delicious with less fat than my normal cream cheese choices!

This is a blog tour that I took part in with Mom Select. I received the products shared for free with the exception of the kind I bought on my own. All opinions are that of my own!
