I am thankful that I have two kids who will try anything at least once, they take after me in that aspect of life for sure! One brand that we always seem to enjoy food from is Quaker. Most recently I purchased a box of the Quaker Granola snacks that had yogurt & cranberry in them, delicious! Today I found out about Quaker Soft Baked Bars, a treat that gives you 5 grams of Fiber, 20% daily value of 5 B vitamins and 6 grams of protein. One thing I have noticed with Quaker brand snacks is that they are able to make a nutritious snack option taste yummy! The kids don't even realize that I am tricking them into getting some necessary nutrients in their system with snacks like the Quaker Soft Baked Bar.
I think that I would prefer to have the Banana Nut Bar as a breakfast snack because I am one of those moms who just tosses her hair up, throws clothes on and runs the well dressed, groomed children to the school every morning. My breakfast is always a fly by the moment sort of meal and I love Banana Nut muffins so the bar makes perfect sense for me. During soccer season my two older children need to have a wholesome food snack option prior to game time to ensure they keep their energy levels up so I know that my son Aj and daughter Miss Ki would absolutely LOVE having the Quaker Soft Baked Bar on the road trip to their soccer practice and games this Fall.
Quaker has simply gone and done it again with this wholesome soft baked bar that will help my family have quick options while on the run; whether it's for myself or the munchkins, I will feel better knowing that our "on the run" snack option is a wholesome choice with the Quaker Soft Baked Bar.
