I Passed the Blok Squad Construction Unit Mission

I have a confession, I have never been able to build anything based on the instructions provided within the box of new toys, new furniture or anything. I have always failed at following such instructions with even something as simple as the Mega Bloks Blok Squad Construction Unit Mission, however, this time — I did not fail, I succeeded!

This is how the pieces looked once my three year old son got his hands on the package while I was preparing for our mother and son afternoon of building Mega Bloks. The next step was for me to pull out the instruction booklet and get the pieces ready, one step at a time. The three year old assisted in gathering the parts for me to build his bucket loader Blok Squad Construction Unit.

We had a fun time and just the simple fact that I was able to follow directions 1) impressed my son and 2) made me proud of myself! This was a great time with my son, but he is three and I keep mentioning his age for a reason; this Construction Unit retails for $9.99 and is recommended for ages 5 and up. I would, under no circumstances, ever let my three year old son play with this set alone due to extremely small choking hazard pieces for his age.

Now that I have shown you the fun we had, let me tell you a bit about the Blok Squad Construction Unit Mission by Mega Bloks:

  • Construction zone included with a worker, set up of the 4×4 hard lights and much more to complete your child’s fun imaginary play time.
  • There are other playsets available and you can find out about all of the buildable playsets on MegaBrands.com website.
