Thinking About Editorial Calendar and Blogging World in 2013

The year 2013 is just around the corner and with the New Year comes people celebrating all night long til that breath taking ball in Times Square, NYC drops with the countdown to midnight. At midnight you are to get a kiss from that love one, at least so I hear. With the New Year on the forefront of everyone’s mind so is the discussion of New Year’s resolutions; if you have been following me for the four years I have been online, then you will know that I do not make resolutions; what I do each New Year is […]

What Do you DO For Work

When I first started this blogging venture, it wasn’t something I thought I would really make money enough to live on but I was willing to give it a try and so far it has been paying off both emotionally and financially. Trying to answer that old question “what do you DO for work?” is difficult for me though, you see I was taught that I need to have some elevator pitch but honestly I write and do so much on this blog and write about various other things on my other blog that I don’t think a 15 second […]

Unilever Spreads – Switch it Up in the Kitchen Giveaway #G2KHoliday

I was challenged to switch it up this holiday season with Unilever Spreads instead of using my normal butter or margarine options when baking some yummy treats. My son wanted to make some molasses cookies for his Christmas Party and the kids wanted chocolate chip cookies for snack at home, so we headed out to get I Can’t Believe it’s Not Butter! from our local Walmart. The daughter had a great time using I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter! for her chocolate chip cookie baking the other night before Christmas arrived. It was easier to use than our sticks of […]

Thought About it, Then Thought Twice

The kids were here on Christmas Eve for our annual pizza and presents with my Dad and Step Mom. You wouldn’t believe how freaking happy I was to get new hand towels, my six year old didn’t get why I was so happy over new hand towels, it’s an adult thing I suppose. I also got this really cool candle that changes colors and stuff, I will be sharing it online soon I am sure. Maybe on my YouTube Channel, who knows.   Christmas Eve was fun, all three kids returned by 5pm from their Dads and I invited my […]

My Brand New Outfit, Head to Toes

Okay now normally I would cringe at the idea of my Mom buying me clothes, I think I resort back to that teenager self and think oh my gawd she did not buy me that. There is no way that my Mom on any green Earth would “get me”, right? I could not have been more wrong, granted my younger (and only) sister helped my Mom pick out my clothes, but seriously? This outfit shown above is a brand new shirt, jeans and UGG looking boots from JCPenney’s that my Mama bought me for Christmas. Being that I am not […]

From My House to Yours, Merry Christmas Friends

It was silent all through the house, not a creature was stirring well except a mouse. As the mouse chomped around or the red squirrel outside, whatever it was, Santa was preparing all of the presents for the kids… As Santa made it downstairs to place the presents under the tree, he also stuffed three stockings; 1 … 2 … 3. But wait, oh now what have we here? The reindeer ate all of the pug’s sweet treats. The children were sad to find out the reindeer ate all of Jenny the pug’s treats but she is spoiled daily so […]

Women Are Frequently Misdiagnosed When It Comes To Sleep Apnea

It is generally accepted men often suffer from obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Why doesn’t the public hear more about women who are afflicted with this same medical condition? The fact is women aren’t as apt to be diagnosed with this condition. In past sleep studies, the ratio of male versus female patients was definitely unbalanced toward men; however, other studies reveal the true ratio is close to two to three males suffering from OSA for every one female with this condition. This is obviously a medical condition both genders endure. When first diagnosed this circumstance was described as one plaguing […]

End of Year Clean Up

Tis the season to start making sure my records are up to date, all is well in the business department and to see how much my revenue increase from previous year. I know each year I love seeing how much more I made than previous years. I am still not at my goal income and I still live pretty much broke, but I enjoy everything I do for work and looking at end of year to see even the smallest increase in revenue is what keeps me moving forward! This year, I had given up the Virtual Assistant business, only […]

Finally Feeling Back to Normal

I think I may have figured out why I have been in this funk of emotions and feeling of anger, frustration and sleepiness; I forgot that I am what’s important, who I am, what I feel and where I have come in my life. It does not matter what others around me do, feel or say or don’t say. If they are not going to be what I need in my life then, well, goodbye. I have a bad habit of just putting up with crap because I don’t really care for confrontation and have always been built to please […]
