In Pinata a group of delusional pinatas believe that they are worshiped when chosen to go to the “party.” Not until they see a video tape of their true fate are they smacked into reality. The group of pinatas must band together to escape their certain demise. yet in the end, they realize that sacrificing themselves for the happiness of others is the essence of being a pinata and the best thing in the world.

One fabulous fact about the sales of this Pinata kids book is: 10% of each sale goes to the foundation Kids Need to Read which promotes literacy.

My Thoughts — This was a fun read for my kids and me. The colorful pages made it fun to read through and it’s such a silly story that the kids giggled a bit as well. I certainly would recommend this for any parent looking to add to their home bookshelf this holiday season. The recommended age group is 5-10, I would say boys and girls would enjoy this story.
