Photo Art People: Photos on Canvas

I have recently found a love of photos to canvas as a great gift idea or just a wonderful way to decorate my home office.  Photo Art People is a company that has been newly introduced to me and is part of this years holiday gift guide because pictures make long lasting, memory making gift ideas!

About Photo Art People

Founded in 2005, Photo Art People have sold over 5,000 canvas prints to date without one customer return in their entire history of providing this service. Photo Art People are so confident in their quality of canvas art that they provide their customers with a 110% money-back guarantee. Each photo that comes into Photo Art People’s hands is examined by certified artists and studied on 15 different quality perimeters. {they mean business}

Photo Art People  use the identical printer, canvas, ink and protective laminate used by the famous Painter of Light” Thomas Kincaid! Each canvas is sprayed with 4 coats of protective laminate to ensure that all Photo Art People’s canvas’ will last 100 years {HP guarantee}. Each canvas is hand-stretched on premium quality wood stretcher bars, a dustcover is installed on back, hanging hardware installed so they are ready-to-hang right out of the box

Small company that takes pride in their work. NO big business here, a small boutique that takes pride in being OCD about quality and customer satisfaction!

MY Canvas

My personal canvas print can not be fully shared on this blog and in all honesty I don’t have a high tech camera that would fully get the true quality of Photo Art People’s work.  I can say my experience working with this company was extremely pleasurable.  Photo Art People took the time to remind me that my image I sent wasn’t high resolution therefore they were unable to blow the image up to a large canvas size but they worked the image I provided to a decent sized canvas that is going to be a favorable Christmas gift this year, I am sure!

They were fast to reply and very educated in what they do. This is more than just another company selling photos to canvas, this is a group of people who truly are passionate about creating canvas from photos and this you can tell when working with them and then upon receipt in the quality of the canvas!

Save money on Photo Art People

I have never heard of this company, but i’ve been looking for a good place to get a canvas printed up with our family picture. I will definitely check it out!

Bill here, from PhotoArt People, the folks who made the photo canvas for Brandy. There are literally hundreds, if not more, companies offering photo-canvas printing, so you have a lot of choices. Since it’s Christmas I’m not going to go “all Grinch” on the competition. But let me give you some tips so you can make sure you get a nice canvas when you are evaluating the others, whether you choose PhotoArtPeople or not:
    1. Make sure a Photoshop certified artist is personally prepping your photo – not some giant factory belching out canvas prints by the thousands. We individually inspect each photo on 15 parameters, like Brandy said
    2. Make sure they extend out the image so it is not cropped when stretched over the wooden internal frame…you don’t want the top of baby’s head cropped off! We were the very first in the industry to do this “image extension”.
    3. Printed on premium canvas, sprayed with multiple coats of protective laminant and hand-stretched on the best quality 1 1/2 inch wooden bars. I have poured red wine and bleach on our canvas prints and it just wipes off. I had my friend shoot paintballs at a canvas and it wiped off…kinda surreal…
    4. Finished with a tyvek back dust cover and hanging hardware, ready to hang right out of the box.

You will find cheaper photo canvas printers out there. Just do your homework before you buy!

    Happy Holidays to all!

I will share mine after the holiday season. I have taken pictures of it Liz and the Droid just doesn’t take a quality picture that would even share the exceptional quality they did even while working with my low resolution picture.

    Dear Blueviolet

Bill here again, from PhotoArt People. The best way I can reassure you of the quality of the image is my 110% money make guarantee (yes 110%, not a misprint). No one else in the business is willing to give you MORE than what you paid for it if not satisfied. My accountant told me I was nuts until I showed him that we have not had a single return in 5 years. Then he said “why don’t you offer 200% back then?”. It’s still zero $! I’m actually thinking about it…

All kidding aside I know you will be happy with a canvas from us at Our motto is to “Coax the masterpiece out of your photo”.

    Happy Thanksgiving
