The time has come for me to travel yet again and this time I get to attend my first ever Red Carpet Premiere of a movie, but not just any movie … I am heading to the red carpet premiere of War Horse.
About War Horse
DreamWorks Pictures’ “War Horse,” director Steven Spielberg’s epic adventure, is a tale of loyalty, hope and tenacity set against a sweeping canvas of rural England and Europe during the First World War. “War Horse” begins with the remarkable friendship between a horse named Joey and a young man called Albert, who tames and trains him. When they are forcefully parted, the film follows the extraordinary journey of the horse as he moves through the war, changing and inspiring the lives of all those he meets—British cavalry, German soldiers, and a French farmer and his granddaughter—before the story reaches its emotional climax in the heart of No Man’s Land.
The First World War is experienced through the journey of this horse—an odyssey of joy and sorrow, passionate friendship and high adventure. “War Horse” is one of the great stories of friendship and war— a successful book, it was turned into a hugely successful international theatrical hit that is currently on Broadway. It now comes to screen in an epic adaptation by one of the great directors in film history.
What Shall I Wear?
That is usually the question that comes to mind when someone is heading to an event such as this one and I am stumped people. Totally stumped as to what to wear to this red carpet premiere. I certainly want a nice black dress to wear to this event and after seeing what some of the other attendees will be wearing I know I must start shopping as soon as possible because I live in a small town with small store selections, these girls have their dresses ready and are sharing them with everyone. My idea of a dress looks something like this one shown below with more length to it.
Whatever dress I choose I am sure to share it with you all before I head out to attend the Red Carpet Premiere of War Horse.

Many familiar names are heading to this event and out of the complete list I only have met one person and that is Nut in a Nutshell – this will be our third meeting this year! I am excited to put faces with blog names and meet these blog friends in real life as well as attend my first Broadway show and see Beauty in the Beast 3D while in NYC for the Red Carpet Premiere of War Horse.
