My family is in love with DisneyNature films, most recently we had received Oceans and the kids have watched this over and over again with me without interruption. Recently DisneyNature released African Cats and we received a copy to review together as a family.
One pretty cool fact about the opening week of this movie is that a portion of the proceeds from the opening-week ticket sales were donated to the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) through the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund to ensure the future of lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, giraffes and a host of other animals in the vibrant African savanna.
I love when companies work to help out animals! Animals don’t have a voice of their own so this was great news to hear.
There are so many ways you and your family can enjoy DisneyNature’s African Cats but I hope it’s as a family movie night special. This is an adorable movie that also helps educate children. This movie is rated G and my kids loved watching this movie with me. As a family who has always had cats as pets in the past we know that cats are important and they have a unique personality unlike any dog. Although we love dogs too.
This is a perfect story about love, animal life and surviving.
