Welch’s is promoting healthy hearts with their products and I have taken part in this blog tour to share my creativity and share with you all how I will paint it purple. My children simply wanted to drink the juice, let it be known NO JUICE survives in this house for more than a minute and I wanted to get more creative with trying out one of Welch’s recipes, but instead I will share with you all a poem inspired by Paint it Purple & written by me;

Concord Grape Flavor

How shall I make thee healthy, oh heart of mine?
Shall I eat fresh grapes from the vine?
How about sip on some Welch’s sugar free juice?
Smooth going down, feel as if I have been set loose.

Energy galore with such lovely concord grape flavor
The kids chase me for just one sip & knock me over
How dare these children steal my last sip
Welch’s must be something pretty cool & hip.

I know I have written better poems, but this was fun for me and I think sort of cute in it’s own little way! The overall point is that Welch’s National Nutrition month is on a mission to not only share some awesome recipes with you but to give you the family tools in order to help you succeed in making a healthier, happier family. I can honestly say I know very little about the heart or health conditions that run in my family other than what I hear around the table at holidays or the occasional visits.
