In preparation of Mother’s Day I am going to share with you a story of a woman who helped me. Her name is Debbie and she was my boss back in the day when I worked outside of the home as an administrative assistant.

In a nutshell: I will say that Debbie helped lead my mind in a more positive direction, Debbie taught me that we all make mistakes and that life doesn’t always happen the way we had figured it to turn out, but whatever happens in life you need to take time to mourn the situation and move forward in a positive direction. Debbie is an amazing woman and she truly spoke to me in a way that just struck me so much so that I would often refer to her as my “sister from another mother”.  I … miss … her .. very … much!

So as you start thinking about the woman who did something awesome for your life, I bet you may start thinking about your mother because after all Mother’s Day is coming on Sunday, May 8, 2011.  How will you celebrate? Whatever shall you get that special mother, grandmother, or aunt this year?
