Household Blues

I look around my house and think about how much money I would need to put into this place to make it look the way I want it to look. Keeping up with three kids, working from home and school stuff for my oldest is certainly a challenge. I enjoy a challenge and that is why when I look around my home I think of how pretty stainless steel kitchen sinks would make my home shine. Only problem is I haven’t mopped since moving back in this place and it is much needed.

Why have a shiny stainless steel kitchen sink when the floor isn’t shiny? I know that in time things will come along to work out the way I want them to. I know that in time when the children are all in school I will have more hours in the day to work thus increasing income and opportunity to remodel the home and maybe add on another bedroom.

My dream is to have all new appliances and when I do go that route i will certainly go online to look at prices because sometimes it is cheaper to order online and have shipped than go local when you live in a small town. When I go online to search out kitchen sinks I will look for style, pricing, and quality. I think customer service will also play a key role in my purchasing habits when it comes to remodeling.

What do you look for when purchasing new items for your home?

I have a stainless steel sink and it’s alright, but certain people in this house seem to think it’s ok to just throw food in there and it dries and sticks like glue. Harrumph!

Shipping is a big factor for me…I love overstock.com as it is a low flat rate. I find deals all the time but after shipping it is no longer a deal.
