I don’t normally check into what searches people are doing to get to my blog nor do I always check with Lijit Stats to see what people are searching when they are on my blog but the other day when the Lijit Stats email hit my inbox I figured I would take a peek and here are the only two searches that were completed on my blog and done within the past 2-3 days “texas friend” and “best friend“. So the only person who comes to mind here is my friend MommaDJane who spent a few days with me last Summer but since then we’ve had a crazy busy Summer and life therefore are not meeting up this year nor have we spoken on the phone as much as we used to.

Is @MommaDJane my friend still? Do I consider her one of my best friends? Well of course, she has always and will always be there for me should I need a friend. Once two people have built a bond of friendship I feel it is long lasting whether you talk daily or not. I know that if MommaDJane needs me or advice or anything she will pick that phone up and give me a ring.

No matter what our friendship status is I am left wondering who was at my blog searching those terms, I am pretty sure it was not her, and now I have to wonder who is coming to my blog, looking for a Texas friend of mine? I have a lot of Texas friends, Jessica @ Riding With Jessica comes to mind as she built my other blog but there are a lot more Texas bloggers it seems than any other state in the United States. I am a New Englander who doesn’t travel therefore have no clue what size Texas is but can say it looks to be a rather large state!

So who ever is looking for my Texas friend or my best friend, you are going to have a grand old time trying to find them because I have many besties and many Texas friends!
