Save The Children Info & Pedometer Giveaway

I am writing today to share with you information about Save The Children and in addition I can offer one reader a chance to win a pedometer.

About See Where the World Goes Campaign:

Every year, millions of children under the age of 5 die in the developing world from preventable or treatable illnesses such as pneumonia, malaria, diarrhea and newborn complications.

The campaign is designed to raise awareness of the simple solutions to the preventable and treatable illnesses in the developing world and to help people realize they are only one step away from saving many lives– from Bangladesh to Ethiopia to Guatemala.

The campaign which just launched in time for Mother’s Day, uses a new interactive website GoodGoes.org and social media strategies to actively engage more Americans in helping to make a difference.

What Can You Do?
Show your support by visiting Facebook and GoodGoes.org and taking some time to check this campaign out. The website features a customized Google map application of the local health worker’s village, blog posts, video bios, and a menu of ways people can get involved in this campaign. I am hoping that you are on board to help spread the word about this fantastic campaign!

Too, I’d love a pedometer (I’m trying to get into hot shape after having my baby) so this was a treat to find, after coming by to visit you. Thanks for the chance!

  2. I checked out the site and watched some videos – what a great project. I will keep them in mind when making donations.

Also, I would love to win a pedometer – I really need to make myself walk 10,000 steps a day – I’m sure I am no where near that. Thanks much!

  3. I think this project is very important and something we often overlook! I want a chance at the pedometer!

  4. I think it’s a wonderful campaign! Isn’t it ironic that there are such simple solutions yet they seem so complicated to get going?

I would love a chance for the pedometer thank you

  5. I think it’s an excellent campaign. There are so many simple & relatively inexpensive things that can be done to help prevent & treat disease.

And I’d love a chance at the pedometer; I need a new one.

  6. I think this is a great campaign, and I love the idea that we’re only “one step away.” I’d love to win the pedometer!
