My home business runs off a home networking system, meaning I have all my data backed up on a server that has a mirrored hard drive and all that good technical talk that you will not find me talking into further detail about as I have no clue. One thing I do know is that many business use fiber optic systems to keep their business running smoothly along with network cable management hooked up by cat6 cables.
As a business owner you want to ensure you have all your networking hubs set up correctly and running efficiently. Having a network is easier to run off of for those who have multiple users who have to gain access to the same information. Can you imagine if you had 10 employees who had to use the same computer data and that information had to be copied to each of their 10 computers? I don’t even want to think about being in a position like that!
Networking for your business computer system makes perfect sense and lessens the burden on everyone involved with those computer systems. What do you currently use for networking solutions in your company or home business?

I have 3 laptops here at home, 1 I use for work, 1 for business, and 1 which my hubs and kids share. We have 1 printer. I started setting up a wireless network a couple of months ago but I backed out because I don’t want hackers to get access to my business laptop, through my other laptops, not to mention the headache of virus spreading through the network. Though we have a secure wireless connection, internet security with anti-virus and anti-spyware on each laptop, I would like to learn more about securing your home network first before I proceed in setting up ours.
But there’s Windows 7 now, so who knows, maybe I’ll find the time to set it up one of these days
