The Job of Baby Proofing

This post is brought to you by your friends at Kidsafeinc.com.

One thing I have struggled with as a parent to two boys is the ability to child proof the home. It seems that no matter how hard I try the boys, even Baby K at age 18 months, are able to get into everything I try to child proof! My daughter never really got into anything but I lived in a very child friendly subsidized housing condo type unit where there was very little for her to get into. As a mother of three I have since bought a house and although it’s child safe, the boys still attempt to get into everything they possibly can.

After talking to my Dad this weekend, I have decided that every day I have my children I will be setting my alarm clock to get up at 5am so that I am awake and ready for the day before they get a chance to get out of bed. It seems Mister AJ who is 3 and a half has decided to get out of bed before me and never wakes me up, which obviously is not very safe having him roam the house alone. So now my new weekly plan is to be out of bed and make sure I am awake before them or sleep on the couch so that I am in the middle of the house and will be woken up when Mister AJ sneaks over his baby gate.

I wanted to share my story because I heard about a company that offers products every parent needs and they are called Kidsafeinc.com.
