Got Out For Some Fun

Last weekend was pretty nice I got to get out and have some fun time with my sister. Friday night we at at Pizza Hut and then watched Alice in Wonderland. The movie was pretty good, although I wish I had brought my oldest because it would have been a great movie to take her to see!

Saturday night was pretty cool, I was the designated driver and we saw some live bands to include TranScenT which is pretty heavy music but I am very open to all sorts of music and had a great time! It was actually pretty fun to see people drinking and head banging. There was one girl who was talking to us and she was a riot! I laughed so hard all night, although I came home with quite the head ache from the loud music, I am getting old!

So it was nice overall to have a weekend without the children, although I missed them dearly my sister was nice enough to get me out and introduce me to some of her friends and keep my mind off of the fact that it was my first weekend without kids. I highly recommend getting out to do whatever it is that makes you happy every once in a while, it’s so nice to just laugh and relax on a weekend if you can!
