Fitness Friday That’s IT

I am here to announce that I am going for it, last weekend I watched my sister play on the Wii Fit and yes my friend and I even recorded it but we are not allowed to upload it to YouTube until she actually starts losing some weight & then she said we can put it together as a video compilation showing how much weight she has lost! So go JENNI! You can DO THIS!

I am ready to start working out again, I know my leg hurts after an intense work out so I am going to try to do some warm ups and stretches beforehand. I never stretched and that could be part of the reason my leg was bothering me so badly. I plan to start with the Wii Fit every night and work my way back up to using the EA Sports Active again on my Wii console. I loved that work out but don’t want to push my leg too far!

So what have you been doing to stick to your weight loss and fitness goals? Do you stretch before working out? Drink a lot of water? What works best for you? I would love to hear some stories!

I love to work out first thing in the morning. No one is awake yet…nice and quiet with no interruptions. To stick to my routine, we bought equipment to exercise at home. Even with little time or bad weather, there is no room for excuses when my gym is just a few steps away from my bedroom. That’s what works for me!

I am absolutely LOVING my Wii Fit! I love that the kids are also getting into it, competing with each other over who burned the most calories. So much better than sitting on their bums playing other games.

Walk at least 30 minutes a day. Use the balance ball to sit on while at my home computer. Use my Bosu ball in the mornings before work three times a week at least.
