31 Days To Build a Better Blog Day 1 | Happily Blended

Day 1 Elevator Pitch

March 2nd, 2010 · 2 Comments

Mariana over at Riding with No Hands is a long time bloggy friend that I don’t always get to connect with but I do subscribe to her blog and the other day I noticed she was getting ready to start @ProBlogger’s 31 Days To Build a Better Blog, since I have the book I thought why not get started with her and the few others who are going to do this together. Just like a great exercise plan, it’s always more fun & productive when you work as a team!

Day 1: Write an Elevator Pitch for Your Blog

Now I am not going to get into sharing all his tips, tricks and advice regarding this Day 1 task because then why would you want to purchase his book? We all have to make a living somehow and I am not up for sharing his book secrets since it’s not a free book at all, but you can certainly buy it to read more details on every step I am going to go through!  Today’s task is to write an elevator pitch for my blog …. I have done this for my virtual assistant business before so let’s DO THIS!

My name is Brandy Ellen and I am a Mommy blogger at HappilyBlended.com. HappilyBlended.com’s speciality is promoting happiness & inspiration one blog post at a time! HappilyBlended.com is here to help others lead a more positive, happier & healthier life!

Now that may not be the best pitch, what are your thoughts?

I love your positivity – who doesn’t want to read about happiness and inspiration? I agree with Deb re: being more specific about what you blog about. You’re a great role model to working moms/entrepreneurs, and know you write about that a lot, for instance.
