I don’t know what I was thinking when I started planning the All I Wanted for Christmas event, I suppose it was because I wanted to share wonderful products for everyone to win. I know I feel super fantastic when I win something, and I guess I wanted to share that feeling with everyone else by giving them a chance to win some wonderful items. The problem is I scheduled it for the beginning of a new year, a new year means a new, fresh start but I have yet to get myself organized this year between blogging for Examiner, my two personal blogs, running my business and of course being a mom and getting the kids all set up on what they need to be doing to move forward for a positive year.
It’s insane the things I get myself into, I swear I am not happy unless I have my hands in tons of things at once. I don’t feel stressed out, reality is I am excited for all that has landed in my lap this year already, but it has made my world a bit challenging for the time being.
As I sit here thinking about what I want to accomplish before we get halfway through 2010 I realized that one area I struggle with is my weekly newsletter. I created my weekly newsletter during a course I was taking from Jessica Knows that was called Rock Your Blog. I still am in touch with most of the wonderful women who took part in this course and we still offer each other support via Skype. One of the assignments was to get a newsletter created and start putting it out monthly or weekly, whatever your preference happened to be. I prefer weekly, because it gives me a way to reach those who subscribe to my newsletter on a more personal basis more often.
The problem I have with my newsletter is what should be included within it, should it be full of personal stories such as what is happening right now in my life or should it be something more inspirational, a way for me to reach my friends and wish them a successful week? I think I like the idea of revamping my newsletter so that it is a weekly happy email to subscribers, I will be starting my newsletter again next Sunday and within it you will find a quote for happiness, success or motivation depending upon what mood I am in that week. Along with the quote I will write something special that will help explain why I choose that quote or how that quote will make you be successful and motivated all week.
My mission here is to make others smile and share a bit of my happiness with the world. I am not always living high on life, there are personal issues, work related issues and so much more that go on “behind the scenes” but I prefer to focus on happy thoughts and creating a positive surrounding in my life and hope that one day my positive, happy thoughts will inspire you to live a more positive life. Eventually we all can learn to be happy in our lives and learn to teach our children this great skill so that they too can be our future of happiness in a world so full of tragedy and negative news coverage.
So if you haven’t subscribed to my newsletter, check it out on my right hand sidebar of my site where it says Free Weekly Newsletter and hop on the wagon towards a positive lifestyle!

Awesome will be looking forward to the newsletter!
But don’t forget to take a little bit of time for yourself, even if it’s just 30 mins a day!

I feel ya Brandy. I am the same way, I have a million–and one—projects that I am working on. Including a new business, a non profit, blogging, writing…the list goes on. I like to be busy…but now I just need to get organized. We just moved, the baby has been sick, so chaos has ensued in this house tenfold.

Its so hard not to do it all. I too seem to try to stick my hand in a few different pots but realized that when I find that one thing that I can put 90 % in then it’s that much better but I soon get lost again. So Hard to stay focused when you don’t get much sleep and have 4 children
Good luck to you Brandy

I feel the same way! I’m never happy unless I have my hands in ten different projects at once and then I wonder why I’m stressed

((hugs)) I know how you feel. I’ve had the same struggles myself with trying to get organized and I’ve learned from my Christmas event that if I want to host an event I need to co-host with a trusted friend because anything that will happen usually will happen DURING said event ha!
