Ever Seen a Snowman With a Mohawk?

My first born and only daughter is from a previous relationship, and when she spends time doing something neat with either of us we have been known to text pics back n forth or messages, whatever. The point is we get along very well as friends and raising our daughter together is pretty easy, even though we don’t always agree on parenting rules or household rules, we do agree that we love our daughter and don’t want her involved in the drama some shared custody children have.

Last week I was sitting around with a few of my friends when I got a text message and it was really late, like near midnight if not after it. I opened up the text to see this:

My sweet daughter next to a very cute snowman. So come Tuesday morning while my daughter and I were chatting I told her that she made a really cute snowman at Daddy’s house. At first she was curious how I knew about that, and so I told her Daddy sent me a text with the picture. She of course made a “duh” type face and proceeded to tell me that the snowman was suppose to be a real snowman but Daddy made a triangle type mouth, the nose wasn’t that of a snowman and then Daddy put a mohawk on the snowman!

My daughter continues on in her story about a snowman that was suppose to be a bear, then it became a punk and then she thought about adding a tail to make it into a mouse. I was dying of laughter as she is telling me this very serious story! Apparently the snowman went from being just another snowman to being a punk, bear, snowman or something like that. Of course I talked to her Dad about her story and told him I couldn’t really see the mohawk on the snowman. He was so nice to send me a better picture so that I could see this snowman mohawk …

I don’t know about you but I have never seen a snowman with a mohawk and honestly it almost looks like the snowman is part rooster rather than punk as my daughter previously stated!
