About two years ago I started my venture towards a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration at an online college and shortly after Baby K was born I realized that there was no way in the world I was keeping up with all that I had on my plate as Mom of three in addition to keeping up with my business and other ventures I enjoy doing. The degree itself was something I had always wanted, and it was sad to know I had to put it on the back burner for a few years.
The thing that I don’t miss from taking online courses is the term papers, seriously I love writing if given an interesting subject but if you hand me a topic that is of little interest to me I will be sitting on my butt racking my brain for hours on end trying to write something that sounds educated.
So when I head back to college to finish my degree I sure hope that someone else can write my term papers or that I take courses that are of high interest to me!
What is or was the worse part of school for you? What do you or did you love the most?

When I was in school, writing the papers were a chore, but I always felt good when I completed them. I felt even better when I earned a good grade.
I know what it’s like to juggle school, a job, and a family. It sounds as if you really have it all together!

I totally agree, term papers!! I just couldn’t spit out what I just read. It had to be all philosophical. Glad I am done:)
I didn’t mind the papers, infact I MISS them. But I rather write a paper than take a multiple choice test or do a group project.
What I don’t miss is all the extra problems that arose with being a single parent in school. Many professors have the “do not miss class ever or atleast on a test day”. If DD was sick and couldn’t go to daycare I was SOL…more often then not an email and face to face meeting and they let me make it up. Just be sure you are there the rest of the time! And the extra daycare drama

Back when I was in college writing a paper involved heading to the library and getting sources from microfilm, microfiche etc. There was no internet to speak of (gosh that makes me sound old.)
My least favorite subject was macroeconomics, but I have to so that it was a good subject to master since I was later able to ace other classes with a strong background in economics.
