Whether you are trying to promote your brand, a business or another area of your life, use of email software to help market via email is definitely a must have! I personally have a weekly newsletter for my blog and a monthly newsletter for my business. I use both lists to share my specialties to those who have opted in for updates via email marketing.
I don’t think of the newsletter lists as a sales pitch, I think of them as a more personal way to reach my readers, clients and prospects! I am currently working on a 6 week course that will be sent through auto-responders and without an email marketing campaign I wouldn’t be able to personally reach those who may be able to benefit from such a service.
Email marketing is being widely accepted by many people including those who are receiving these emails. With all the new SPAM regulations and the rules regarding people’s email addresses most businesses are required to have a way for their subscribers to opt out in addition to a way of reminding them where they signed up for the newsletter or email campaign.
Icontact.com offers a 15 day free trial that may be a great way to start for those of you looking for options on how to start your first email campaign. If you already use their service I would love to hear your thoughts.
