This week I am writing my weekly update on the EA Sports Active 30 day Challenge I am doing every week to lose weight and inches! This Fitness Friday meme is brought to you by Wii Mommies.
Days 12 and 13 I took rest days. Day 12 was a Friday and I coudn’t motivate myself to get up and exercise because the boys were being out of control crazy so I was able to get my exercise chasing them around. Day 13 I had a business conference type even to attend and I barely got my butt out of bed early enough to get a shower, get dressed and do my hair.
Day 14: Burned 84.1 calories in 12 minutes of workouts, yeah I cheated and took out the running and squat holds, didn’t feel like it. Bad me! But hey I am admitting it to the whole world, so maybe just maybe I don’t do that on Day 15
Day 15: Half way there!!! Yay!! I burned 115 calories and did mostly upper body workouts today. I worked out for only 18 minutes. Today I decided to measure inches and found I have lost 1″ on both my arms and 2 inches off my left thigh – odd that it’s only one. Measured three times so the accuracy seems to be there on inches lost. Nothing lost off my mid-section, bummer but keep moving forward, it will happen, already lost 5″ on mid section last time!
Day 16: Rest Day, had so many errands to run it took all my energy wrestling down the boys to get them dressed and out the door.
Day 17: Rest … oops slacker Brandy
Reality is I didn’t really use the Wii Fit nor EA Sports Active as often as I should have this week, however, I was extremely active with my children and I watched my diet. Next week I hope to pick back up with exercising to ensure I am reaching my fitness goals.
