Today I share with you two poems I know the untitled one was written by mei n 1998 but I didn’t place a date on the Heart That Melt poem ..
Untitled
Close your eyes, go to sleep
Do not dare to sneak a peep
For I have crept into your bed
To rest my dizzy little headHold my close, pull me tight
I will dream of you all night
Kiss me gently, melt my heart
Swear that we will never partWhen morning comes, hide my eyes
For I will have to go, big surprise
Spend a day way from you
But I will be back at quarter past two.
Heart That Melt
The look you gave
I thought it could save
The way my heart had feltYou took all your anger
Put me in danger
And left my heart to melt.
So there you go, a weekend of poetry … hope you like my writing of the old days … I miss writing poems but I can only write them when I am extremely happy about something or extremely sad. Mostly my poetry is filled with sadness, and reality is I may get a little sad here and there, but it doesn’t ever consume me the way it used to in those days so it’s hard to write my poetry so I am going to simply work on writing a book, maybe in five years it will be finished!

I tried my hand in poem too many years back and most time I was only able to write when I was feeling sad.
