Today is day 20 of my EA Sports Active 30 Day Challenge and I would like to update you with some inches lost because I am very excited!!!
So when I started this work out process it was because I found myself feeling low self esteem and getting really upset about my mid section and upper arms. For some reason I have a huge chest, huge upper arms and well my mid section had taken a huge stretching because I had the boys 2 years and 6 days apart. Normal everyday life and stress also took my body through heck and back!
I am not the type of person to sit around and complain I am more the type to get something done. I spent many of years feeling sorry for myself as a teen and focusing on all the poor pity me things that happened growing up, and I tell you that leads a person to discover alcohol and other ways to cope with their lives. Not me, although I will admit occasionally I will sit down and enjoy a nice 6 pack, I am not one to drink away all my problems … I have found energy in my EA Sports Active workout and now that I am able to physically see in the mirror and measure inches lost I know this workout is worth every moment I take to complete it!
Today I received a trophy for completing 100 squats, burned some great calories and even got some support from my two sons while doing the work out (see AJ above with his thumbs up).
Are you ready …. to hear how many inches I lost??? Ok …. here goes … first I did lose 2″ on my mid section from Day 1 to Day 10, but hadn’t measured any other part of my body til Day 10, so the below results are based on Day 10 through Day 20, but if you want to take into consideration the Day 1-Day 10 mid section lost, you can add 2″ to my waist total below for total lost to my waist:
- Waist (mid section): 3.25″
- Lower Abdomen: .25″
- Thighs (both right & left): 0″
- Right Bicep: 1″
- Left Bicep: 1″
So I have lost a total of 5.25″ on my waist alone in 20 days of the 30 day challenge, which has actually only been 11 days of physically working out, all other days were “rest” days …. so if I can lose 5.25″ in 11 days of working out while still taking care of my three children, attending girl scouts, taking care of the PTO website, and running my blog and business, I think YOU CAN TOO!
Make it a Happy Day!
