Get That Child Interested (in potty) Giveaway

September 11th, 2009 · 32 Comments

TOILETBUDDIES_JPGToday I am here to review Toilet Buddies. We received the Gatago Giraffe and Poo P. Bunny to review with our sweet AJ who just turned three and has yet to show any interest in the contraption we call a toilet. We went out and bought him the Disney Cars Soft Potty Seat,  but that didn’t work. At our wits end we finally found a great idea from Toilet Buddies and thanks to them we were able to receive a review copy of Gatago Giraffe and Poo P. Bunny.

Gotago Giraffe

Plain face before you pee

Smiles while you pee

Smiles while you pee

AJ has loved his Gatago Giraffe all week, but today he has expressed that his smiling Giraffe potty must go so he can have the bunny potty. So this week we will try the Poop P. Bunny as our new toilet potty training theme.

This product has worked wonders for AJ, who only a few months ago was showing no interest in even sitting on the big boy potty and is now ready, willing and actually anxious to sit on his potty so he can pee like a big boy. I informed him that he can poop on the potty too (hey a Mom’s gotta try) and he looked confused! At least he is now peeing on the potty at least a couple of times a day and he is INTERESTED, that’s all I can ask for because he won’t potty train for real until the time is right for HIM. This video also assisted in helping to gain potty interest:

I must recommend The Toilet Buddies as a way to assist in encouraging an interest in that foreign contraption in your bathroom to your child.  They have worked wonders in our home and I hope they work wonders in yours too!

You can purchase Toilet Buddies for $13-$25 each on The Toilet Buddies website or Amazon.

I have 5 grandchildren under the age of 3- I have one that’s pretty resistant to training- I’m afraid he’ll be the only kid in diapers in kindergarten. THanks for the giveaway.
