If you have not heard of The BlackBerry Diaries: Adventures in Modern Motherhood you are about to hear about this fantastic book, or what the author, Kathy Buckworth, refers to as a “plog”.  The book is written in blog format but as she states in her introduction this is on paper and so she refers to the book as a “plog” (blog on paper).

I am about halfway through this book, very fast and easy read, and since she is going on tour starting August 18th I really wanted to get this review out to you so that you could meet Kathy in real life should her book tour be coming your way!

The Blackberry Diaries: Adventures in Modern Motherhood is a hilarious book that is easy for any mother to relate to. Kathy is a mother of four and she soon felt she was a mother of five after getting her new Blackberry. You can easily find yourself relating to her journeys of modern motherhood with the advancing technological world we live in. The BlackBerry Diaries: Adventures in Modern Motherhood is a day to day account for her life of raising these four children while still remaining in contact with the virtual world for support, friendship and work related reasons.

Why I Love The Blackberry Diaries

When I was first approached to review The Blackberry Diaries: Adventures in Modern Motherhood I was intrigued for I was not a mom with a Blackberry but I was a mom who wanted one.  I am a mom of three who feels staying connected in the social media and virtual world is an important factor in becoming successful and widely known.  As a fantastic writer Kathy knew she had to stay connected and the only way to get connected while running four children around to their school events and extra-curricular activities was to have a Blackberry Smartphone.

Kathy is witty, comical and serious all in one and this shows in her book The Blackberry Diaries: Adventures in Modern Motherhood.

    hey brandy how have you been? sorry I’ve not gotten a chance to speak with you lately, my brother in law had been fighting a loosing battle with cancer in which he passed last week..he’s been in the hospitial for the last 3 months on and off. I’ve rarely even blogged or tweeted much. Trying to get things back on track!
