Giveway & Review: Le Baby Hair Gel

August 21st, 2009 · 28 Comments

I recently received a sample of Le Baby Hair gel to test out their product and after a complete evaluation of Le Baby Hair Gel I offer this review and giveaway.

First, I will start by saying that a label that says “all natural” usually doesn’t sell me on a product. I can’t really tell you why, must be something instilled in me from growing up with non-natural type products. I don’t know, what I do know is I have been impressed by Le Baby Hair Gel and am happy to tell you more about their product!

Why Le Baby Hair Gel

  • Le Baby Hair gel is made of non-irritating chemicals which make it perfect for children who suffer from eczema or other sensitive skin troubles.
  • Le Baby Hair gel is not tested on animals.
  • Not sticky like those “other” gels.
  • Moisturizes; literally feels soft like water in your hands.
  • Keeps hair in place without looking to “fake” or “stiff”.

Why I Love Le Baby Hair Gel

Having two boys ages 1 and 3 who have very sensitive skin left me not knowing where to turn on the occasional “day out” when I wanted them to look cute and stylish. Of course looks aren’t everything but a Mama can occasionally have her boys looking sharp and handsome, right? My first born son, AJ, has eczema bad and this includes a very sensitive scalp. Any gel I have tried on his hair will either leave his scalp broken out and red OR make his hair hard and crisp; neither of which worked for me (or AJ).

My baby K is one and shows signs of similar skin problems his big brother has and so I am being pro-active in trying to use more sensitive typs of items on his body and head. For instance we use Dove Sensitive body wash on the boys as it’s not as harsh as those “other soaps”.

Le Baby Hair gel is something the baby can run his hands through without getting his little fingers stuck and pulling the hair as well as allowing his scalp to breath. The boys have enjoyed being able to look “cool” without the price of itchy, dry, red skin.

I learned Tami Dimmerman, creator of Le Baby, searched for a product that would tame and style her daughter Chloe’s fly-away hair without aggravating her eczema or irritating her sensitive skin. She hoped to find a safe, gentle and effective gel without harsh chemicals or potentially harmful ingredients. Unwilling to settle for what was in the marketplace, Tami spent months experimenting with different all-natural formulas until, through animal-free testing, she found the perfect combination.
