Got My Hotel in NYC From Priceline

I recently went to NYC, Manhattan to be exact, to see Bob the Builder live and stay in a hotel overnight with my family. Although we ended up leaving early, the hotel we purchased through Priceline was fantastic. Priceline was a great way for us to find a hotel at a reasonable rate the day before we were heading to NYC. We booked a 2.5 or 3 star hotel for only $85!

For those who are not aware, it is hard to find a hotel in NYC that is not expensive, but with three young children we wanted to stay in NYC so that we could walk with the children around Time Square and other areas of NYC. My husband researched hotel prices in NYC for two days before we finally went ahead and booked through Priceline, we were unsure because of how the site works, but we were pleasantly surprised when we booked a great hotel at a great rate!

Now we went with a 2.5 or 3 star hotel but you can get deals on 4 start hotels as well. Simply select your area, hotel star level and other stats about a hotel that you prefer to have as well as your bid amount, and voila Priceline searches and finds you a great hotel based on the criteria you entered.

Although we didn’t stay overnight in our hotel, we ended up leaving around midnight, the price was right, the hotel was fantastic and I would highly recommend you check into Priceline if you are going to be traveling. I have friends who travel a lot and recommended Priceline, after my great experience and my friends – I would say it’s the ONLY way to travel on a budget!
