Why Moms Matter Blog Talk Radio

I am sure some of you have heard me talk or tweet about Why Moms Matter. I love this blog talk radio show where Moms get nominated for being extraordinary. The extraordinary is not something out of the ordinary, but what Moms naturally do to raise their children. Being extraordinary doesn’t mean you are perfect, it doesn’t mean that you do not yell, it just means you are doing your all to raise your children with the morals and respect you wish to instill in them. You are doing your all to be extraordinary.  In my opinion a mother’s love is always extraordinary, why? Quite simply because it’s unconditional. No matter what you do, your Mother will love you for YOU and will always be there for you as long as she can be!

Today on Why Moms Matter, my best friend Dwan and I will be featured to discuss the value in friendships. We are two best friends with three children who are busy with our own lives, yet always make time to lean on each other. Dwan and I have never met, we have only become friends virtually through phone calls, Skype and email. We talk daily and know everything about each other, just like those “normal” face to face best friends, it’s just that we haven’t ever been able to give the other one a hug in our time of need, we haven’t been able to go help each other with our children during the crazy days, we can only lean on each other through words and virtual support.

We will be meeting soon, in July, Dwan will be flying up to NH from TX to meet me for the first time and will be spending three nights with my crazy family and I. She is super excited and I am too. I am excited, I have listened to their show on a weekly basis, either live or recorded after the fact, but every time I am amazed at the stories of the Mom’s they feature and quite honestly felt I could never compare to the challenges they have faced and the love they have for their family and their children!
