How do you help a friend meet someone? You set them up on dates, shop with them for the right outfit, help with their makeup and hair, go with them to local social events, and just in general do everything you can to get them out there where all the men are. Now, what if your friend lives in another part of the country?
MommaDJane and I are virtual best friends, yet live states apart. Both MommDJane and I have three children and work from home. The main difference in our lives is the fact I am happily married and she is single. Since I can’t drop by her house and take her out to social events within her community to meet new men, I wanted to help virtually. I met my husband on-line three years ago and am solid proof that on-line dating works. After her unsuccessful past experiences I am ready to prove to her it works. MommaDJane has agreed to let me take part in helping her find Mr. Right. So I propose this: I plan to quiz MommaDJane in order to make her profile on a dating site the best suit for her. Then I want all you readers to help me find who she should date; like an interactive reality show. MommaDJane agrees to vlog about her dates, before and after and to be honest about how it is going. She plans to post about her experience going back into the dating world, how it affects the kids and herself. How babysitting options work out and even down to asking for advice on what to wear!
Come on all you married women out there, how fun will this be? Don’t you miss the dating days where you could get all excited about something new? Wouldn’t this be an exciting way to get involved in the dating scene again? Let’s help her out, give her some advice and try to be the great friends we would be if we lived next door.
Let’s take the movie “Must Love Dogs” to a whole new level, an interactive one!
I would love to have your feedback and help with this venture!
Please take the poll below:

Considering I had to kiss A LOT of frogs to find the prince that is now my husband, I can say that I’ve seen it all. I’d love to help pick Dwan’s Mr. Right.
Have I lost my mind agreeing to this? LOL I am nervous yet excited as well. I trust you ladies and believe you know what you are doing, show me the way!
Now we got to pick the site, hmmmm Match.com, eHarmony? What are your thoughts…?
It wouldn’t let me view the results.. I’m in! My uncle found his wife online, he lived in Hawaii at the time and had to fly to the mainland to go on the ‘dates’! Let’s look a little closer to home eh?
Go Brandy!
I know someone who used the Yahoo dating place but they said there were a lot of creeps to wade through?? what is the cost for the other places?? Could we pool our resources??
I love this idea – and what a fun adventure it will be!!

BTW, that is so cool that you met your hubby online! I love to hear those stories. What service did you use? I have heard great things about eHarmony!
Keep us posted!
I have heard good things about eHarmony too, but there are so many out there that seem to work..we just need to find the “right fit” for MommaDJane!!
I am so excited to be helping her out..wish I was closer..but this will be exciting too!
I couldn’t see the results, either. I’ve set up 8 couples, 7 are married 20+ years. This is fun. Sorry MommaDJane.
I’m so nervous for you but excited too! I have to pee!
I love this idea! I can’t wait to see how everything unfolds!

I’m in! Would love to help Dwan find the perfect guy! How exciting!
OK, I’m loving the sound of this. With all this search talent, do you suppose you might find someone well-suited to me, too?
I love this idea! I can’t wait to watch the journey! How fun!
Well, as a “content pimp,” I’m sure I could apply some of my “pimping” prowess here… and by saying that I mean in the BEST WAY POSSIBLE.
This sounds like super-fun — and I admire your good-sport attitude, MommaDJane! Bring it on.
This is FANTASTIC! I will be watching! Good luck!
