It was a pleasure to meet Dawn via username @paintermommy on twitter a while back. Later I found that Dawn has a Virtual Assistant Service business where she offers custom twitter backgrounds AND custom blog headers. What a wonderful service!

You may be wondering, why do I need a custom twitter background? The first topic that needs to be addressed is “what is a twitter background”? A twitter background is the first impression a person has for you in twitterville. A background will be something that is shown to anyone and everyone who clicks on your @username to see who you are. My custom background has been completed by Dawn and can be seen here. I must admit I am very excited to give myself a great first impression to moms, employers, PR reps, and anyone else who happens upon my twitter profile.

Now back to the first question, Why do I need a custom twitter background? Well quite simply you need to give your target audience a great first impression. Think about that first time you met your spouse, or the first time you went for a job interview; would you not have looked YOUR BEST and dressed accordingly?
